Important: If you want to use a device other than a DEXIS device, additional costs may be required, such as the purchase of drivers, to integrate that device with Ascend Academic Imaging. Before you purchase the Ascend Academic Imaging add-on or a particular device that you want to use with Ascend Academic Imaging, consult the manufacturer of that device to verify if there will be costs to get that device working with Ascend Academic Imaging.

Note: Some, but not all, devices have been testing using a TWAIN driver. Using a TWAIN driver with certain devices might have unexpected results.
